The Background

If you fancy yourself a coffee connoisseur, you're probably pretty familiar with Kona coffee, or at least aware of their reputation. Kona coffee is grown on the western coast of Hawaii within a micro-climate that offers fantastic coffee growing conditions. Kona beans are grown at high altitudes, on volcanic slopes that offer nutrient rich soils. These beans in particular come from Captain Cook, a community that sits within South Kona. Koa Coffee, (I wonder where they got their name from?) offer a variety of high quality, 100% Kona products, each of which do the lofty reputation of Hawaiian coffee proud.

What makes Hawaiian Kona Estate Coffee special?

Recommended Brewing Methods

This coffee is going to taste great no matter what you do to it. We recommend:

  • Pour Over - We recommend going with a pour over method to get the perfect tasting brew from these beans.
  • Drip - Tried and true drip coffee is an easy and accessible way to taste the greatest of Kona coffee!
  • French Press - If you're feeling adventurous, why not try fire up the french press? You'll get a little bit more body without compromising that signature smoothness.
