The Background
In 1966, the Monte Vista estate was established in the mountains of Santa Barbara. The company has been family owned for the entire duration of its existence. Situated in north-western Honduras, Santa Barbara is home to ideal coffee growing conditions. Beans from the Monte Vista estate are strictly high grown, and have very well developed taste profiles. Ripe coffee cherries are handpicked and small batch roasted, leading to a consistently high quality product. Beyond offering fantastic coffee, Monte Vista contributes to fresh drinking water and educational efforts for surrounding areas in need. Highly respectable roaster, highly respectable coffee!
