The Background

Kenya AA coffee is widely considered to be one of the best coffees in the world. These beans are the highest quality, (grade 1) and one of the biggest sizes, (AA) in the Kenyan classification system. Kenyan coffee is grown at altitudes high enough to be classified as "strictly high grown". Growth at these heights occurs more slowly than at lower altitudes, allowing a longer maturation process and in turn, a more developed flavor profile. The rich volcanic soils of Kenya provide great growing conditions for coffee. Altitude, soil and an ideal climate all contribute to the high quality of Kenyan beans. The sorting process to isolate  AA beans leaves you with only the biggest and best!
